Faith McDowell resides in Greensburg Pennsylvania and studies music education and composition at Seton Hill University. She composes for piano, chamber music, choral and instrumental ensembles. She has been commissioned by local middle school and high school ensembles and was the 2019 and 2020 winner of the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra composition contest. She actively works with the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds, Setonia Treble Choir, and Una Voce mixed choir to read and premiere music. In April 2022, the Seton Hill Music Department will present a full concert, directed by Ms. McDowell, premiering a wide variety of her original compositions.
